4 Mistakes People Make When Creating Products

by  Zech Smith

We all make mistakes, but the less we make the better, right? In this message, I’m going to go through the top 4 mistakes the people make in Product Creation, and tell you how to solve them.

  • Mistake #1: Doing Nothing.  Wow! Didn’t expect that huh? This is the #1 mistake people make in product creation. Not kidding. If you haven’t even started on your first ebook, it’s not going to start itself. In order to finish, you HAVE to start.
  • Mistake #2: Going for length.  I’ve seen ebooks that were 1 page long that out pulled others that were 100′s of pages. Honestly, if an ebook is longer than 60 pages, I get bored with it. I don’t have time to read that much in a sitting. Go for writing something that somebody’s going to learn something in a single sitting from. That’s it.
  • Mistake #3: Not proofreading.  If you want an excellent product, get somebody else to read it and tell you honestly what they think, and get them to spot errors. Do this after you’ve read it a few times and corrected your own errors.

You can’t be perfect, but you can be good. And that brings us to the 4th mistake…

  • Mistake #4: Being a perfectionist.  Make it good. That’s all that’s important. People want something that will satisfy them. Something that will make them happy. That’s it. That comes in various forms, but it’s NOT rocket science. Just make it good. It doesn’t have to be perfect.
